Jung Helpdesk · iPhone app
The Jung Helpdesk app is a guided way through the C.G. Jung Helpdesk podcast: curated journeys, a map of every episode, transcripts you can search, and a host who walks with you. Here is what people ask.
Write to usjung-helpdesk@mail.de — we read everything, usually within a few days.
Yes. Tap the download arrow on an episode page or in the player. The audio and its transcript are saved on the phone. Downloaded episodes gather in You → Downloaded. Tap the arrow again to remove the file.
Yes — everything lives on your phone, nothing online. Before switching phones, go to Settings → Your data → Save a copy of your progress. On the new phone, Restore from a saved copy merges it back in.
The transcripts are machine-made and Jung's vocabulary trips them up. Press and hold the paragraph in the transcript, choose Report a transcript error, tap the wrong words and send. Reports are anonymous and fix the transcripts for everyone over time.

Turn them on in Settings. The app checks the feed quietly in the background and notifies you about new releases only — nothing else, ever. iOS decides when the check runs, usually within a few hours of a release.
Links like cgjunghelpdesk.github.io/e/053 open in the app when it is installed. If Safari opens instead, long-press the link and choose Open in Jung Helpdesk once; iOS remembers.
Any iPhone running iOS 17 or newer. iOS 26 gets the glass controls; older systems get the same layout in flat style.
Short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking; your listening stays on the phone. The full privacy policy lists exactly what the app sends and why.
